The Atlas — a map for finding new kinds of patterns

There is a new tab in the community: Atlas. This is what it is for.

Why Most patterns come from the same handful of ideas. The Atlas exists to widen that — to go looking for kinds of patterns nobody here has tried yet, and to keep a record of what was found.

What is on it A map of pattern space. Two axes, both about feeling rather than maths:

left → right: order → chaos top → bottom: wire (trajectories, lines) → field (mist, density) Every point on it is a kind of pattern — an attractor ink, a caustic, a history waterfall, a phase transition. Some are proven, some are open frontier, some are hypotheses nobody has walked yet.

How to use it Find the spot whose feeling you want and click the point. Press Copy prompt. You get a complete prompt for that idea — the API rules, the constraints, and the things that usually go wrong. Paste it into any AI, then paste the returned code into Pattern Lab. If something good comes out, publish it and put it on the map with Add my pattern. Dropped near a point, it links to the prompt it came from, so the map slowly shows what actually grew where. Pins play live, and you can turn their knobs right there on the map.

Status Experimental, and it will keep changing — the points, their positions, and the prompts are all first drafts. Positions in particular are just opinions.

If a prompt gives you nothing, or a point sits in the wrong place, say so in this thread. That is how the map gets better.
