Diamond Breath
How the knobs work: Knob 1 – Zoom: sets the grid cell size in pixels (8–30). Low = many small diamonds, high = a couple of big ones. Knob 2 – Breathe: picks how the pulse phase spreads across the grid — 0–1 is a diagonal wave, 1–2 is radial (pulses outward from center), 2–3 sweeps left→right. Each diamond still grows/shrinks as a whole (phase is computed per-cell, not per-pixel), so the shapes stay clean while the timing ripples across them. Knob 3 – Hue: rotates the palette; background is kept as the complementary hue at near-black so it stays moody at any color. Knob 4 – Scroll: shifts the whole lattice up/down; the breathing phase is anchored to screen space so it doesn't jump around while scrolling.

At minimum zoom it looks like a sunflower at times, which is my favorite look.
